Ukraine: Caught in the Crossfire of Geopolitical Machinations
The ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia has been the subject of intense scrutiny and analysis, with various narratives and interpretations emerging from different perspectives.
Here’s my resolute “overview” in a 6-minute video originally posted on May 4, 2022:
One such viewpoint posits that Ukraine has simply become a tool of the West's 'hybrid war' against Russia.
My commentary aims to explore this perspective, delving into the historical context, geopolitical dynamics, and regional implications surrounding Ukraine's role in the complex web of international relations.
To understand the current situation, it is crucial to consider the historical backdrop of Ukraine's relationship with both the West and Russia. Historically, Ukraine has always been viewed as Russia’s “bread basket” and as its “front porch.”
Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, Ukraine emerged as an independent nation in 1991. It embarked on a path towards democratization and sought closer ties with Europe, particularly with the European Union (EU) and NATO. However, Russia, viewing Ukraine as part of its sphere of influence, remained very wary of Western encroachment in the region.
The geopolitical implications of Ukraine's strategic location cannot be overstated. Situated between Russia and the European continent, Ukraine has been a coveted prize for both sides.
The West, seeking to expand its influence (and further “crowd” Russia), has pursued closer ties with Ukraine, offering economic aid, political support, and aspirations of EU membership. This, in turn, has fueled Russia's fears of encirclement and a potential NATO presence along its immediate borders… a HUGE geopolitical prospective risk for having NATO missile launchers right up at its border.
The concept of 'hybrid war' refers to the use of a combination of conventional military tactics, cyber warfare, disinformation campaigns, economic coercion, and proxy conflicts to achieve strategic objectives. The West has ABSOLUTELY employed such tactics in Ukraine over at least the last 10-15 years, utilizing the country as a tool to undermine Russia's influence and provoke instability on its doorstep.
Supporters of this perspective point to events like the Euromaidan protests in 2014, which led to the eventual ousting of Ukraine's pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych in June 2015.
They argue that Western-backed forces (CIA et al) played an instrumental role in fueling the unrest, leading to a series of geopolitical ripple effects. The subsequent annexation of Crimea by Russia and the outbreak of the conflict in eastern Ukraine are often portrayed as a direct result of the West's interference.
The implications of Ukraine's role in the West's alleged 'hybrid war' against Russia extend beyond the immediate conflict.
The ongoing tensions have strained relations between Russia and the West, leading to economic sanctions, military build-ups, and an overall deterioration in global stability. Moreover, neighboring countries, particularly those with significant Russian populations, have become increasingly concerned about the potential spillover effects of the conflict.
While the idea that Ukraine is simply a tool of the West's 'hybrid war' against Russia is a contentious one, it highlights the complex and interconnected nature of international relations.
Ukraine finds itself caught in a tug-of-war between two competing spheres of influence, with each side pursuing its own strategic interests.
This inherent instability is exacerbated by the fact that Ukraine has been, and continues to be, an ATM for paying bribes (commissions) to Western political and military leaders for all the foreign aid it receives in both cash and war materiel.
Ukraine is a hideously corrupt country. See the first two articles below…
Further, the U.S. Defense Department (DoD) has, for many years, sub-contracted bioweapons warfare research at multiple sites in Ukraine… some of which were doing gain-of-function (GoF) studies examining HOW to “train” SARS-CoV-2 and other biological nasties to solely target Slavic (Russian) bloodlines.
The news of this sub-contracted research has been utterly suppressed in the Mainstream Media. That element alone, in my mind, was sufficient to warrant Putin’s incursion into Ukraine and de facto war… not to mention NATO’S unwarranted pressure on Ukraine to join the Western alliance.
Sheer demonic idiocy!
Recognizing the multifaceted (and mostly hidden) actual dynamics at play is crucial to understanding the conflict, exploring potential paths toward peace and stability in the region, and finding an off-ramp for the war.
HOWEVER, IT’S ALL DEPENDENT ON THE TRUTH BEING WIDELY TOLD OF THE REAL ISSUES AND BACKSTORY HERE.

During the course of our hour- and-20-minute interview, Daniel Ellsberg contended America still runs a “covert empire” around the world, embodied in the U.S. domination of NATO.
He believes Washington deliberately provoked Vladimir Putin into invading Ukraine by pushing its seat of power eastward toward Russia’s borders; that the mainstream media is “complicit” in allowing the government to keep secrets it has no right to withhold; and that any notion Americans are ever the “good guys” abroad “has always been false.”
