Escalating tensions between Russia and US/NATO interests (and the Law of Unintended Consequences) would indicate "Yes."

In recent years, the relationship between Russia and the West has become increasingly strained, with Ukraine at the center of a geopolitical tug-of-war.
As the US/NATO alliance continues to support Ukraine in its pursuit of independence and press for it to join NATO, questions arise about the potential consequences of this ongoing standoff with Russia’s historic interests. One pressing concern looms above all others: Could this situation escalate into a nuclear confrontation?
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has deep historical roots and has witnessed various phases since Ukraine declared its independence from the Soviet Union in 1991.
Russia, feeling threatened by Ukraine's pro-Western leanings, has asserted its influence through military interventions and the annexation of Crimea in 2014. The West, on the other hand, has stood in solidarity with Ukraine, condemning Russia's actions and providing economic, political, and military support.
As the US and NATO continue to idiotically pour tens of billion$ in aid and war materiel into Ukraine, concerns about prompting a nuclear confrontation between Russia and the West become increasingly more likely.
As the US and NATO dump more war aid and advanced weaponry into Ukraine, the risk of a nuclear exchange increases significantly; it has catastrophic implications.
Personally, I’m convinced the shit-ass political and military leadership we have here in America and NATO are, for the most part, under the direct influence and control of the Deep State and “globalist elites.” These assholes WANT World War III - get clear about that. They are operating under the grand illusion they’re going to defeat Putin’s Russia and reassert Western geopolitical hegemony.
Nuclear weapons, with their demonstrably immense destructive power, have served as a deterrent in international relations for the last 75 years or so. The doctrine of mutually assured destruction (MAD) has long kept major powers from engaging in direct military conflicts. Nevertheless, the rising tensions between Russia and the West, as out-picturing now in Ukraine, create a great deal of uncertainty and substantially increase the potential for miscalculation.
While the West's support for Ukraine is primarily political and economic, the fear is that the situation is rapidly escalating into a direct military confrontation that could trigger a nuclear response.
Russia, feeling encircled and threatened, might view its nuclear arsenal as a means of protecting its interests. Similarly, the West's commitment to Ukraine could lead to a firm stance that Russia might perceive as a direct challenge, raising the stakes for both sides.
Frankly, I don’t think there’s a snowball’s chance in hell of diplomatic efforts creating any potential de-escalation.
America and NATO are bound and determined to defeat Putin and Russia. They have ZERO interest in negotiating anything other than utter capitulation.
It’s highly unlikely, at this juncture, there will be ANY dialogue seeking mutually acceptable solutions… which is paramount to keep things from spiraling out of control.
International organizations such as the United Nations, and other diplomatic channels, have proven to be feckless in finding any common ground and mitigating the risk of a nuclear confrontation.
The West’s (US/NATO) insistence on supporting Ukraine against Russia significantly raises concerns about the potential for a nuclear confrontation.
