Here’s a link to my brother’s mini-ranch website… and yes, that’s really the view off his back deck. Silver Star is just east of Butte, Montana; the mini-ranch is about a 15-minute drive south of the Whitehall Exit on Interstate 90.
Here’s a link to an overview of the Ruby Valley; Twin Bridges and Sheridan, Montana are the nearest towns of size. The entire valley is gorgeous and it’s got great fishing.
Butte, Montana, 30 minutes away, and Bozeman, Montana, 50 minutes away, are the nearest commercial airports. Bozeman has more flights in and out.
While I was browsing the web this morning, I came across a small treasure trove of some very nice recipes. I’m a bit of a foodie and a competent cook (not chef-my sauce and baking skills are basic, as yet).
