A Centuries-Old Battle: Unraveling the Ill-Will and Fight for Blessings in Today's War between Hamas and Israel
Can embracing common roots cultivate harmony?
Introduction
The present-day war between Hamas and Israel has captured the attention of the world, with its devastating and tragic consequences and seemingly unending cycle of violence. However, some might argue this conflict is not merely a recent development but rather a continuation of a centuries-old battle for patrimony, inheritance, and blessings from ancient Abraham.
By examining the historical context of the conflict and drawing upon an Old Testament Bible story, we can gain insights into the roots and complexities of this ongoing war.
The current conflict between Hamas and Israel (and other past Arab/Israeli wars) has a long and troubled history, marked by several major wars and numerous smaller-scale confrontations.
The recent outbreak of violence can be traced back to attacks by Hamas militants from the Gaza Strip, which targeted Israeli towns and launched surprise cross-border raids. In response, Israel has carried out airstrikes and is now pursuing ground operations. This historical context is crucial in understanding the deep-seated tensions and animosity between the two sides.
Understanding the Roots through the Old Testament Bible Story
To gain a deeper understanding of the roots of the present-day war, we can turn to an Old Testament Bible story that revolves around the themes of patrimony, inheritance, and blessings.
This story centers on Abraham, who’s considered the patriarch of both the Jewish and Arab peoples.
According to the biblical account, Abraham had two sons, Ishmael and Isaac, who became the ancestors of the Arab and Jewish nations, respectively. The story through the ages highlights the ongoing struggle for inheritance and blessings between these two lineages.
In the Old Testament story, Abraham's wife Sarah was unable to conceive, so she allowed her husband to father a child with her maidservant Hagar, who gave birth to Ishmael.
However, later in life, Sarah miraculously became pregnant and gave birth to Isaac. This led to tension and conflict between Ishmael and Isaac, as both sons were seen as rightful heirs to their father's blessings and inheritance. The story portrays the struggle between the descendants of Ishmael and Isaac, symbolizing the ongoing battle for patrimony and blessings that continues to this very day.
This battle for patrimony, inheritance, and blessings from ancient Abraham has deep historical roots. The story of Abraham's two sons and their descendants has been intertwined with conflict and strife throughout history. The implications of this centuries-old battle can still be felt in the present-day war between Hamas and Israel. The desire to claim and preserve what is believed to be their rightful inheritance and familial blessings has fueled the ongoing conflict.
Both the Israeli and Palestinian people see themselves as the rightful heirs to the land that was promised to Abraham and his descendants. This has created a sense of entitlement and deep attachment to the land, resulting in the ongoing struggle for control and ownership. The battle for patrimony and blessings has become deeply ingrained in the identity and aspirations of both sides, making it challenging to find any peaceful resolution to the conflict.
Ill-Will and its Impact on the Present-Day War
Ill-will, born out of centuries of conflict and competing claims, has had a profound impact on the present-day war between Hamas and Israel. The residual ill-will left from the centuries-old battle for patrimony, inheritance, and blessings has perpetuated a cycle of violence and hindered any significant efforts towards a peaceful resolution.
An example of this ill-will can be seen in the ongoing territorial disputes between Israel and Palestine. Both sides have deep-rooted grievances and historical narratives that fuel their hostility towards one another. The past conflicts, displacements, occupations, and perceived injustices have created a deep sense of resentment and distrust, making it difficult to break the cycle of violence. Ill-will and hatred have become a barrier to any practical peace, as they perpetuate a cycle of vengeance and retaliation… and prevent the healing of wounds inflicted over centuries.
Possible Connections to Biblical Prophecies
The conflict between Hamas and Israel has also sparked discussions about its potential connections to biblical prophecies.
Various interpretations and viewpoints exist regarding the relationship between the conflict and biblical prophecy.
Some argue the events unfolding in the current war align with ancient prophecies, while others view these connections as intellectually dishonest and dangerous. The implications and controversies surrounding these connections continue to be subjects of debate.
Some proponents of the connection argue that the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, and subsequent conflicts, fulfill biblical prophecies about the restoration of the Jewish people to their ancestral homeland.
They point to passages in the Old Testament that speak of a regathering of the Jewish people and the reestablishment of their sovereignty. However, critics of this interpretation argue that it’s selective and ignores the complex historical and political factors at play.
As the region grapples with the devastating consequences of the immediate war between Hamas and Israel, it’s essential to approach the situation with empathy and seek a path towards peace and reconciliation. The historical context, the Old Testament Bible story, and the impact of ill-will all contribute to the complexities of this ongoing conflict. By understanding the roots of the conflict, we can strive for a future where the cycle of violence is broken, and a lasting resolution is achieved.
Editor’s Note: The October 7th. attack on the Israelis and their kibbutzes was nothing less than terroristic slaughter of innocents. How was that missed or “allowed” to occur?
The Israel Defense Force (IDF) has since responded to that surprise attack and is continuing to respond; many innocent women and children have died as a result of that response.
I’m very conservative and I LOATHE ALL TERRORIST GROUPS… period!! However, Israel’s bombing raids have killed and or maimed thousands who were not involved in the October 7th. attack. Does that make any sense to you?
From my perspective, Israel has simply permanently created the next generation of hatred and prospective terrorist recruits… it’s a “whack-a-mole” strategy doomed to failure.
Further, as you’ll see in some of the links immediately below, it would appear there may be a significant and unarticulated “backstory” as to WHY Israel, under Netanyahu’s leadership, wants to control the land under Northern Gaza.. as the plot thickens.
Meanwhile, thousands of innocents on both sides of the fence have been blood sacrificed by demonic globalist interests “steering” matters behind the scenes.
Further, the U.S. has its feckless Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, shuttling around the Middle East accomplishing NOTHING with Arab leaders while he holds carefully worded Press Conferences run through the political filter of propping-up fuck-head Joe Biden and his re-election campaign. What a sold-out SOB Blinken is…

Editor’s Note: PLEASE, do NOT send me ANY emails or make any comments saying I’m anti-Israel or anti-Semitic… that’s utter and complete bullshit!
I AM for digging out the truth of the matter and the REAL backstory, however ugly and unpleasant it may be. Collectively, we have ZERO chance of getting our world back to some semblance of normalcy unless or until we kill-off the “official narratives” ruling our day-to-day existence. It’s ALL a major criminal (demonic) perpetration… and most are too stupid and asleep to see it!

I don’t know if you saw this prior post… FYI
I am very disappointed at the level of gullibility regarding the clearly orchestrated event at the Palestine/Israeli border and the hostages that were killed and taken by Hamas. That’s the most technologically military advanced border on the planet yet you think Israel and the IDF did an 8 hour black out on the iron dome and border sensors and a stand down of perimeter guards by accident? That’s not only unlikely, it’s completely impossible! This whole thing stinks!
